Rabbi Asher Yeshayahu Rubin of Ropshitz רבי אשר ישעיה רובין מראפשיץ
the second rebbe of Ropshitz; son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali Tzvi
Son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali Tzvi of Ropshitz, married to his daughter Reitza. When Rabbi Naftali died in 1827 his sons settled in towns of their own—Lesko, Mielec, Dzikow—while Ropshitz itself stayed with the son-in-law.
He led the court for eighteen years, until the eve of Passover 1845. His book is the Or Yesha. After him his son Rabbi Menashe, author of the Lechem Mishneh, held the seat of Ropshitz.
