Seder Olama timeline of Jewish history

Shelach שֶׁלַח

son of Arpachshad, father of Ever

"And Shelach lived thirty years and begot Ever" (Bereshit 11:14). He lived four hundred and thirty-three years and outlived his own grandson Peleg by a hundred and thirty—such is this stretch of the Torah: the older generations are still living when the younger have died.

Nothing else is said of him. He is a link, named for the count.
