Genghis Khan ג'ינגיס חאן
Founder of the Mongol Empire: the greatest conquests in history
He has no direct connection with Jewish history: the sack of Baghdad and the end of the caliphate are of 1258, the work of his grandson Hulagu, thirty years after his death. And for the Jews of Baghdad that was more of a relief: the Mongols abolished the dhimmi restrictions.
His birth year diverges by twelve years: 1155, 1162 or 1167; most historians take 1162.
