His birth year diverges: Wikipedia gives 369/368, Britannica 367. On his relations with the Jews of Judea the sources differ: Josephus reports both that he took Jerusalem by a ruse on the Sabbath and that he settled Jews in Egypt as colonists and soldiers on terms, not as captives.
