Rabbi Joseph Habiba—Nimmukei Yosef רבי יוסף חביבא
his commentary is printed with Alfasi and read as part of it
He cites the Rosh, the Ritva, "my teacher the Ram" and the Ran himself—and by these citations he is dated: he worked after them.
The Hida established that parts of the commentary that went under Rabbeinu Nissim's name—on Moed Katan and Makkot in particular—belong to Ibn Habiba, and that he wrote novellae on the whole Talmud. No work of reference gives years of life: it is said only that he was active at the turn of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
