Korach and two hundred and fifty men rise against Moshe and Aharon—«all the congregation are holy». The earth opens and swallows them, fire consumes those who offered the incense, and a plague is stopped by Aharon standing between the dead and the living. Aharon's staff blossoms and gives almonds.
