Seder Olama timeline of Jewish history

Rabbi David Shlomo of Kobrin רבי דוד שלמה מקוברין

the third rebbe of Kobrin

Son of Rabbi Noach Naftali. He took the court after his father's death in 1889. The year of his birth is not given by the sources.

He died on 11 Cheshvan 1928; some reference works place his death ten years earlier, in 1918, but the Hebrew date stands only with the first reading.

His son Rabbi Moshe Aharon led the Kobrin chasidim until the Shoah and perished in 1942; his son-in-law Rabbi Baruch Yosef Sack held the title of rabbi of Kobrin in New York until 1949.
