He was born on 10 Kislev 1892 in the town of Pławno. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Betzalel Yair Danziger of Lodz, a son of Rabbi Yechiel; he changed the name Tiberg to Danziger.

After the Shoah the Alexander chasidim, left without a direct male line, proclaimed him their rebbe. He gathered the court in Erets Yisrael: first in the Beit Yisrael quarter of Jerusalem, then in Bnei Brak.

His book is the Emunat Moshe. He died on 23 Adar I 1973 and is buried in Bnei Brak.
