the second rebbe of Dzikov; author of the Imrei Noam
He took the rabbinical post of Dzikow in the lifetime of his father, Rabbi Eliezer, and the court after his death in 1860; through his father he was a grandson of Rabbi Naftali Tzvi of Ropshitz.
The Imrei Noam is a commentary on the Torah, with a separate part on the festivals, and responsa; all of it came out after his death, by the labour of his descendants.
He died on 8 Tammuz 1877 in Karlsbad, where he had gone to be treated; his body was brought to Dzikow. His son Rabbi Yehoshua took the court.
