Seder Olama timeline of Jewish history

Mar Zutra III מר זוטרא בר מר זוטרא

the executed exilarch's son who came to head the learning of Tiberias

Seder Olam Zuta relates that he was born on the very day of his father's execution and was raised in secret. The same tradition says he left for the Land of Israel in 520 at eighteen—which does not square with the first. We name the contradiction rather than hide it: the chronicle is late, and its count drifts.

The encyclopedia speaks of a departure "to Jerusalem", other sources of Tiberias; Tiberias is the likelier: the learning lived there. The title resh pirka—head of the sessions of exposition—stayed in his line for generations.
