he raised the Kalov court anew after the Shoah
He was born in 1924 in Marghita. A descendant of Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Taub of Kalov; the links between them are known only by the common reckoning of years, they have no Hebrew dates, and we have no records of them yet—the gap we name rather than close.
In 1944 he was taken to Auschwitz; he passed through the Warsaw ghetto, Breslau and Bergen-Belsen. After the war he raised the Kalov court in Erets Yisrael.
His books are the Kol Menachem and the Simcha la-Nefesh. He died on 23 Nisan 2019 and is buried on Har ha-Menuchot in Jerusalem.
