the fifth rebbe of Sadigura; author of the Knesses Mordechai

His father, Rabbi Aharon, died when he was sixteen, and he—born in Sadigura in 1897—grew up with his uncle in Vienna. From there he went with his uncle to Eretz Yisrael.

Rebbe. He took the court after his uncle’s death in 1961 and led it in Tel Aviv until his own death. He sat on the Council of Torah Sages of Agudat Yisrael, and Ruzhin reserve was joined in him with a readiness to speak of the affairs of the country.

The book. His talks were published as the Knesses Mordechai. He died in 1979; the court was taken by his son, Rabbi Avraham Yaakov the Third.
