Rabbi Naftali Halberstam of Bobov רבי נפתלי הלברשטאם מבאבוב
the fourth rebbe of Bobov
Born in Bobov; the only one of Rabbi Shlomo’s children to survive the war—he passed through the ghetto and the flight with his father. In Brooklyn he was at his father’s side for half a century: he ran the yeshiva, received people.
Rebbe. He took the court in 2000, already ill, and led it for five years in his father’s spirit.
He died in 2005. The inheritance was contested between his younger brother and his son-in-law; the court divided in two, and both are called Bobov. Which of them is the senior is a question each side answers for itself.
