the second rebbe of Kretchnif; author of the Raza d'Shabbos

He took the court after the death of his father, Rabbi Meir, in 1908. The year of his birth is not given by the sources.

The Raza d'Shabbos is a book on the Torah and on the sayings of the Sages, carrying his father's teaching as well; it came out in 1967, after the war.

On 26 Iyar 1944 he was taken to Auschwitz, and the next day, on the Sabbath of the portion Bechukotai, he was killed with his family and his community. His surviving son Rabbi David Moshe raised the court anew in Erets Yisrael.
