the third rebbe of Alexander; he set up the court's first yeshiva
Younger brother of the Yismach Yisrael and son of Rabbi Yechiel Danziger. He was born in 1860.
He took the court in 1910, when his brother died leaving no sons. Under him the court's first yeshiva arose in Alexander, the Beit Yisrael, named in his brother's memory.
He died on 29 Tishrei 1923. His teaching came out after his death in Lodz in 1925 as the book Tiferet Shmuel. His son Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Mendel took the court.
