Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Eichenstein of Zhidachov רבי יצחק אייזיק אייכנשטיין מזידיטשוב
the second rebbe of Zhidachov; nephew and disciple of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh
Son of Rabbi Yissachar Berish and nephew of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Eichenstein, at whose side he grew up and studied. After his uncle's death in 1831 his father led the court about a year, and then he took it.
He studied also under Rabbi Shalom of Belz. His teaching is gathered in the Likkutei Maharia and the Likkutei Torah ve-ha-Shas, published after his death.
He died on 9 Sivan 1873. With the house of Komarno he is doubly kin: Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Komarno is his cousin and a disciple of the same uncle.
