The son of Rabbi Aharon II; he took Stolin after his father’s death in 1872 and led the court for only a year.
He died in 1873 in Drohobych, where he had gone for treatment. His son was four, and the Stolin chasidim, finding no other heir in the direct line, recognised the child as rebbe—so the story of the Yenuka began.
