The Ateret Yeshua—Rabbi Yehoshua Horowitz of Dzikov רבי יהושע הורוויץ מדזיקוב — עטרת ישועה

the third rebbe of Dzikov; author of the Ateret Yeshua and the Emek ha-Halakhah

He was born on Shushan Purim 1848 to Rabbi Meir, the Imrei Noam; he became head of the court in Dzikow in his father's lifetime, and took the court in 1877.

The Ateret Yeshua is on the Torah, the festivals and responsa; the Emek ha-Halakhah is a study of law. He has smaller works too: Tosfot Metzia, Derech Melachim, Kedushah Meshuleshet.

In 1909 he handed the rabbinical post to his son, Rabbi Alter Yechezkel Eliyahu. He died on 11 Tevet 1912.
