the first rebbe of the Shomrei Emunim court; son of Rabbi Aharon Roth
Born on 14 Adar I 1924 in Beregszasz. After his father's death in 1947 his father's house of study in Meah Shearim passed to him, and the part of the chasidim who stayed there followed him.
In 1976 he moved to Bnei Brak and led the house from there; under him houses of study and yeshivas arose in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Ashdod and Beit Shemesh.
His book is the Chukei Chaim. He died in the night of 5 Elul 2012.
