Rabbi Moshe Perlow of Stolin רבי משה פרלוב מסטולין

Son of Rabbi Yisrael Perlow, the Yanuka. After his father's death in 1921 the sons settled in different places, and Stolin stayed with him; his court gathered thousands of chasidim.
On 29 Elul 1942, on the eve of the new year, the Germans drove the Jews of Stolin to the market square and led them to be shot. His wife Dvora Leah and his children perished with him. Local tradition tells another account: that he and his brother Rabbi Asher were in hiding and died three days later in a fire; we make no choice between the readings.
With him the Stolin court in Stolin itself came to an end.
