Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlow of Koidanov רבי שלמה חיים פרלוב מקוידנוב

founder of the Koidanov court; grandson of Lechovitch through his father and of Stolin through his mother

Son of Rabbi Aharon, son of Rabbi Mordechai of Lechovitch; his mother Perl was a daughter of Rabbi Asher of Stolin. He studied under both grandfathers, and afterwards under his uncle, Rabbi Noach of Lechovitch.

He was rabbi in Stolin and in Turov, and after his uncle's death in 1832 settled in Koidanov; part of the Lechovitch chasidim followed him. He was called the Old Koidanov rebbe.

He died in 1862; the Hebrew date is not given by the sources. The year of his birth is given two ways: 1797 and 1792. His son Rabbi Baruch Mordechai took the court.
