the fourth rebbe of Slonim; perished in the Shoah
He took the court in 1933 while very young, after the death of his father, the Beis Avraham, and within a few years was fully acknowledged: the chasidim said that in him the grandfather and great-grandfather were easier to recognise than in anyone.
The Shoah. When the Germans came to Slonim he stayed with the community. He perished in 5704 (1943); with him perished almost the whole of Slonim Chasidut in Lithuania and Poland.
The court was restored in Eretz Yisrael ten years later—from the Tiberias and Jerusalem chasidim who had survived on the other side of the war.
