Rabbi Yochanan Twersky of Rachmastrivka רבי יוחנן טברסקי מרחמסטריווקא

The youngest of the eight sons of Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl. In the division of the father's inheritance in 1837 Rachmastrivka near Kiev fell to him, and he led the court there until his death—fifty-eight years.

Jerusalem. His sons and grandsons went up to the Land of Israel in 1901 and set up the Rachmastrivka court in Jerusalem, in Mea Shearim. Of the Chernobyl courts it alone has stood there since then without a break—the Shoah did not touch it, because the court was already in Jerusalem.

He died on 25 Nisan 1895.
